Ray Foley is set to become the new host of breakfast on Dublin's 98FM.
The 31-year-old DJ and Take Me Out presenter is swapping his Today FM microphone for that of 98FM, bringing sidekick JP Gilbourne with him.
Foley and Gilbourne will take over the vacancy left by Aidan Power and Claire Solan on The Morning Crew show, weekdays from 6:00am to 10:00am.
The announcement came on Friday, with Foley quoted as saying: "To say it is a money thing would be incorrect. I've been dying to scratch that itch for years, presenting a breakfast show in Dublin has been on my bucket list for years."
Foley will now take on his Today FM colleague, Ian Dempsey, as they compete for breakfast listeners.
Foley said: "It is a terrifying prospect being on at the same time as Ian Dempsey."
CEO of 98FM, Chris Doyle, said in a statement: "Breakfast is a prestigious slot on radio and we know Ray and JP will do a fantastic job and add big personality to 98FM. Ray reaches right into the core of our target audience and having an established name with huge experience and talent is a brilliant addition to 98FM."
Foley added: "Like everyone else in Dublin, I can't believe 98FM are giving me and JP the breakfast show! This show has been a dream of mine ever since I was a newsreader on 98FM a decade ago. Dublin is in for a rude awakening!"
