Chris O'Dowd has said that he's the kind of guy girls want to set their sister up with and doesn't think he'll ever be a sex symbol.
Speaking to GQ magazine, the Bridesmaids actor said:''I just don't think women look at me as sexual. They see me more like a guy they would like to set their sister up with. I play very sweet characters, so people look at me like I'm the kid from the [teenage sitcom] The Wonder Years, rather than Brad Pitt.''
Chris, who recently married TV presenter Dawn Porter, is set to be seen as the leading male in another female ensemble film, The Sapphires, but says he's happy with his status.
He further pitched in: ''I think, as a man, I don't need to necessarily be worried about people remembering who I am or going by unnoticed, because they will always say, 'Oh, he's the guy.' I will say that from now on, I'll just do female ensembles. I hope the next one is a comedy in a strip club."
