RTÉ Radio One presenter John Murray talks to RTÉ TEN about preparations for tonight's Murray Christmas Concert in Dublin.
Speaking about the sold-out event, he said: "I'm just finalising the script for tonight and I'm very excited about the event. I went in to check out the set-up in St Ann's yesterday and gate-crashed Sinéad O'Connor's rehearsal.
"Wow, she was doing a version of Once in Royal David's City, the bonus track on the Murray Christmas CD and a few passers-by had come into the church and were spellbound by it.
"And then she started singing Scarlet Ribbons which will also feature in her set tonight. Brill. It should be magical.
"And then there's the rest of the line-up - Lumiere, Jack L, The Henry Girls, Wallis Bird, John Spillane, and recitations by Branson himself [from Downton Abbey]- Allen Leech [and] Sharon Commins, and Mícheál Ó' Muircheartaigh. It promises to be a wonderful night".
Murray also spoke about the charity behind the event: "All the proceeds go towards Aware, which does such great work for people with depression. Let's face it, this time of year can be particularly difficult for people with that inbuilt pressure to be part of the festive season and all the celebrations.
"250 lucky people will see it tonight in St Ann's but the good news is that we will be broadcasting an hour-long programme on tonight's concert next Wednesday, December 19, from 9am to 10am and Nationwide will be showing highlights next Friday [on RTÉ One], at 7pm."
