Chad Coleman on Walking Dead character

Chad Coleman has dropped hints about the future of his Walking Dead character Tyreese.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, The Wire star said: "I can't say too much, but it's fireworks, shock and awe - which is par for the course for the show. It's going to be a fun ride."

The actor, who was first linked to the part of Tyreese last month, explained that he didn't read the original comics to prepare for his role.

He added: "I have some knowledge of the comics. But... a lot of what we're going to do is going to be a lot different than the comics and when we need to reference the comic, I have the material available."
