Game Change leads TV Globe nominations

Game Change is leading the 2013 Golden Globe Television nominations with an impressive five nods.

The political drama film based on events of the 2008 United States presidential election campaign received recognition for its stars Julianne Moore, Woody Harrelson, Sarah Paulson and Ed Harris along with a nod for Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made For Television.

Homeland came in at close second receiving four nominations, Claire Danes, Damian Lewis and Mandy Patinkin were all recognised, while the show itself was named in the Best Television Series - Drama shortlist.

Modern Family, The Girl and Downton Abbey each earned three nominations.

The 70th annual Golden Globe Awards will be presented Jan. 13 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler and airing live on NBC.
