Ripper Street, the new Victorian era thriller which stars Irish actors Charlene McKenna and David Wilmot and which was shot in Dublin, starts on BBC One on Sunday December 30 at 9:00pm.

Set in the aftermath of the Jack the Ripper murders in London, Ripper Street focuses on "the notorious H Division - the police precinct from hell - which is charged with keeping order in the chaotic streets of Whitechapel".

The series also stars Matthew Macfadyen (Detective Inspector Edmund Reid), Jerome Flynn (Detective Sergeant Bennet Drake), Adam Rothenberg (Captain Homer Jackson) and MyAnna Buring (Long Susan), with Wilmot playing Sergeant Donald Artherton and McKenna playing Rose Erskine, one of the women who works in Long Susan's brothel.

Filmed in Clancy Barracks and other locations in Dublin, RTÉ TEN visited the set of Ripper Street and you can watch the video and hear from members of the cast and crew by clicking the link on your left.
