Davina McCall has revealed she considered a stint as a contestant in Celebrity Big Brother, but her husband swayed her to say 'no'.
The 45 year-old former Big Brother presenter told The Daily Star that she had thought about signing up for the show, saying: "Initially, I thought it would be fun to go on, even for a night.
"Then Matthew [Robertson, McCall's husband] said, 'I have to share a lot of you, I don't want to share you sleeping'. I was like, 'OK, you win!'", McCall explained.
The presenter fronted the show for ten years on Channel 4, both Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother formats, until the eleventh series ended in 2010.
Channel 5 then revived the series a year later. Since leaving the series, McCall has gone on to present Sky's Got To Dance and The Million Pound Drop on Channel 4.
The next series of Celebrity Big Brother is due to begin this week on Channel 5 with former X Factor contestant Rylan and The Hills duo Heidi and Spencer Pratt expected to enter the house, as well as jockey Frankie Dettori and comedian Jim Davidson.
