Strictly’s Goodman marries for third time

Len Goodman, best known for his role as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing, has married his long-term girlfriend, dance teacher Sue Barrett.

The 68-year-old married his girlfriend of ten years, 47-year-old Barrett in a ceremony in front of a group of 30 family and friends in London yesterday.

According to The Telegraph, the only guest who knew about the nuptials was Goodman's 96 year-old mother, as the other guests had been told that they were invited to a special Sunday lunch.

Speaking about the wedding, Goodman, who is also a judge on America's Dancing with the Stars, said: "We've had a marvellous day.

"I wanted it to be a low-key affair, so we didn't tell anyone except my 96-year-old mum as I didn't want her having a heart attack!"

Goodman was previously married to Cherry Kingston, his former dancing partner, in 1972. However they divorced before he married Lesley, with whom he has a son James, who teaches at the Goodman Dance Centre.
