Mullingar-born singer Niall Horan is rumoured to have split from his girlfriend Amy Green because he doesn't have time for love.
The 19-year-old is believed to have ended his relationship with English student Green, which began in October, because of his hectic schedule with the band.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror newspaper, a source said: ''Sadly, it is over between Niall and Amy. He finished it because he didn't have enough time with everything he has to do.
''Understandably she was disappointed because she had been in a relationship before she started seeing Niall and chose him over her boyfriend.
''But there are no real hard feelings and they're still close.''
Horan recently took to his Twitter page claiming that he has "never felt happier" as his band prepare for One Direction's 117-date world tour.
