Home and Away veteran Ray Meagher, who plays the part of Alf Stewart in Summer Bay, has said that he avoids looking at social networking sites.
Speaking about using social media, Meagher joked: "I've been dragged kicking and screaming into this millennium. Even keeping up with emails is enough to drive you nuts.
"The tweeting and the Facebooking, I really don't like it because people can put whatever they like on there and be totally anonymous."
The 69-year-old actor added: "They are not accountable for what they say. I don't want to buy into it.
"I'd rather be completely oblivious and let them say what they like and not respond and not worry about what they do."
