The Spice Girls musical Viva Forever! has been extended until at least February 2014.
The Jennifer Saunders-penned show looks set to showcase even more performances up to Saturday, February 15, 2014, according to Digital Spy.
The musical features Hannah John-Kameniva and Eurovision star Sally Ann Triplett and centres around a girl called Viva who gets caught up in a TV talent show which turns her life upside down.
Absolutely Fabulous star Jennifer Saunders recently hit back at critics who slammed the Spice Girls musical Viva Forever!.
When asked what she made about the poor reviews of the show, 54-year-old, Saunders told the London Evening Standard: "So the critics - five middle-aged men - didn't like it. If you send your dad to see Viva Forever! on his own, then of course he's going to hate it. It was no surprise."
The show's producer, Judy Craymer, also defended the musical, saying: "We want to get it out to Broadway - that's the plan. There are talks in progress. Japan and Asia also want it.
"We just want to make sure we have the product right in London first. The critics were always going to give us a hard time, but the truth is it's sold out until June. Feedback from audiences has been amazing. Spice Girls fans are loving every minute."
She added: "Yes, it's been hard - but just like any show is hard to start from scratch and launch on the West End."
