The National make their long-awaited return to Ireland when they play Live at the Marquee in Cork on Friday June 28.
This will be the band's only Irish date this year and tickets priced €35 (including booking fee) go on Thurs Feb 28th 9am from www.ticketmaster.ie and outlets nationwide.
The band's last Irish show was at Oxegen in 2011 and this is their first gig in Cork since they played the Triskel Arts Centre in December 2002.
A new album, the follow-up to 2010's breakthrough High Violet, is expected in 2013, but no release date is yet confirmed.
