French for Australia's Got Talent

Dawn French has been confirmed as the latest celebrity judge to join the 2013 series of Australia's Got Talent.

The actress and comedian joins Spice Girl Mel B on the judging panel for the Australian version of Simon Cowell's show.

2012 judges Brian McFadden, Dannii Minogue and Kylie Sandilands will not be returning for the show's seventh series.

The show will now be aired on the Nine Network, after being dropped by the Seven Network due to disappointing ratings.

Michael Healy, Nine's Head of TV, said that French is "widely recognised and adored" by Australian viewers and he has promised a "bigger and better series".
