Irish music documentary Good Cake Bad Cake: The Story of LiR is to premiere at Dublin's Sugar Club on Wednesday March 20 and will then screen for four nights at The Factory Cinema from March 21 to 24.

Directed and produced by Shimmy Marcus (Soulboy, Aidan Walsh - Master of the Universe), the film chronicles the trials and tribulations of one of Ireland's greatest nearly bands, LiR.

"Formed in the late '80s, the Dublin outfit released three critically acclaimed but commercially underachieving albums," Marcus says. "Inveterate road warriors, they survived legal battles, collapsed record deals, and near-death bus crashes on their epic journey, which is now in its 25th year!"
