Diane Kruger has been announced as the new face of Chanel beauty.
The French luxury house chose the actress for its Allure fragrance advertising campaign in 1996 and again for the Paris-Biarritz bag advertising campaign in 2007.
Now an ambassadress for Chanel, Kruger will front a new beauty advertising campaign, due to be unveiled this year.
In a statement, the House of Chanel praised the actress's "natural elegance and beauty" and said they were attracted by her "cosmopolitan spirit and artistic background".
