In an interview with RTÉ 2fm's Michael Cahill, Robbie Williams has said: "My weight is still my biggest struggle in life. I spend a lot of the day worrying about getting fit."
In the interview, which will air on 2fm tomorrow, Sunday April 14, he also spoke about being a dad, Take That and about the possibility of joining The X Factor judging panel.
Speaking about fatherhood, he said: "So there I was. I wrote a song on my new album for Teddy called Go Gentle.
"I brought her out for a walk, a few months ago, and started singing the song to her.
"Once I finished, she turned to me in her buggy, and got sick on me. That's appreciation..."
In relation to his weight, he added: "My weight is still my biggest struggle in life. I spend a lot of the day worrying about getting fit, and I can't seem to do it.
"I've tried everything, and I really worry about it. Then I see the days to a tour, counting down. Chocolate should be banned worldwide."
He also spoke about whether he would become an X Factor judge: "I don't think I could do that. I'm too opinionated. I have too much to say. Yes, that's what the show needs.
"But I think I would simply p*** off too many people too quickly. Let Noel Gallagher do it. He'd be grand for it!"
Speaking to RTÉ TEN about the interview, radio presenter Cahill said: "What I like about Robbie, unlike a lot of stars these days, is that he has a lot to say.
"And he's not afraid to speak his mind."
