With award-winning Belfast music biopic Good Vibrations continuing its acclaimed run in Irish cinemas nationwide, Bono, Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie and Oscar-winning director Ron Howard have been singing the movie's praises.

Directed by Lisa Barros D'Sa and Glenn Leyburn, and starring Richard Dormer, Jodie Whittaker, Liam Cunningham, Adrian Dunbar, Dylan Moran and Killian Scott, Good Vibrations tells the true story of the legendary Belfast record shop of the same name and its founder, Terri Hooley (Dormer).

Bono said: "Richard Dormer's performance is a transcendent, anarchic, amazing joy! If you love music, movies or being alive you'll love Good Vibrations! Plus, I now have 11 and 13-year-old punk rockers at home... thanks very much."

Primal Scream's Gillespie said: "Rock and Roll music has the power to change lives; this film proves it."

Director Howard said of the film: "Saw a terrific new Irish indie based on true story called Good Vibrations. Inspiring, funny, great music and character moments. Look for it."
