Scott & Bailey star Suranne Jones is to star in Sky Living's upcoming season of drama pilots, Drama Matters.
Former Coronation Street star Jones will star in Lawless as a new judge "battling to keep her head above the water in the murky depths of the justice system".
Lawless also stars Jonathan Cake (Desperate Housewives, The Killing), Chris Coghill (EastEnders, Spike Island) and Lindsay Duncan (GBH, Rome, Doctor Who).
Also starring in pilots during the Drama Matters season are Freema Agyeman, Anna Friel, Katherine Kelly, Daniela Nardini, Anne Reid, Sophie Rundle, James Thornton, Russell Tovey and Christine Tremarco.
