Gosling and Efron rumoured for Star Wars

Ryan Gosling and Zac Efron are reportedly in talks to join Star Wars: Episode VII.

According to Latino Review, Gosling auditioned for the role of Luke Skywalker's son, however it is unclear what role Efron would play.

Episode VII is supposedly going to take place thirty years after Return of the Jedi.

The website also revealed that Leonardo Di Caprio went for a meeting with Lucasfilm, but declined the offer to get involved.

Star Wars: Episode VII is slated for release in 2015, with Toy Story 3 writer Michael Arndt on-board to write the script and original actors, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford, set to star in the revival.
