He's not even finished filming – but Jeremy Piven is already "really proud" of the second season of Mr Selfridge.
Former Entourage star Piven - who plays the gregarious department store owner Harry Gordon Selfridge in the ITV period drama - was speaking to the press at a gala dinner in London.
"I'm not supposed to tell you, but I'll tell you anyway that [season two] starts five years ahead [of the first], so the backdrop is the Great War," he explained.
"I know it's such a cliche, but this season, everything in the show is deepened. I'm really proud of the way it's going and I feel like we have a duty to do better than last season, and I think we're off to a really great start."
When asked what he enjoyed most about the show he said: "The clothes are all so amazing, but what's important to me is to play with such brilliant actors - It's an embarrassment of riches."
When asked if he would be involved in any battle scenes, Piven dryly replied: "I can't tell you that, otherwise I'll have to shoot you."
The second season of Mr Selfridge is due in 2014.
