Mrs Brown's Boys is nominated for Best Comedy Series, with The Graham Norton Show nominated in the Best Entertainment Show category.
Scanlan, who plays Brendan Brady in Hollyoaks, is nominated for Best Soap Actor alongside Alan Halsall (Tyrone in Coronation Street), Shane Richie (Alfie in EastEnders) and Jeff Hordley (Cain Dingle in Emmerdale).
The Fall, which recently completed its first season on BBC Two and RTÉ One, is nominated for Best New Drama, with BBC One's Ripper Street also nominated in the same category.
The Northern Ireland-filmed Game of Thrones is among the nominees for Best International Series, while Downton Abbey's Brendan Coyle (John Bates) is among the nominees for Best Actor.
The winners will be announced in London on Monday September 9, with voting open to the public at the TV Choice website until Friday July 12.
