The surviving members of The Doors - Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore - will reunite for a tribute to keyboardist Ray Manzarek, who died in May.
The Light My Fire hitmakers are planning on staging a concert for the band's keyboardist who recently passed away after a long battle with bile duct cancer.
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, Robby said: "We're going to do at least one show for Ray and have a big send-off. That's either the start or the end of it, I don't know."
Robby further admitted that he didn't realise Ray was as ill as he was, adding: "I kind of noticed on the last tour that he was slowing down a little bit. He had a good run. For a rock & roller [74 is] a pretty good age."
He also told how the pair had worked on new, as-yet-unreleased, material together in 2011.
He explained: "We never finished it. We worked on some stuff with Ian Astbury. Maybe something will come of that at some point. It was some pretty good stuff, actually. We couldn't call it the Doors. We didn't know what to call it, and we kind of gave up on it."
