Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston will reportedly play Lex Luthor in the Man of Steel sequel.

Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston will reportedly play Superman's nemesis Lex Luthor in the Man of Steel sequel.

Cosmic Book News reports that the actor will confirm the casting when the fifth series of Breaking Bad ends next month and they also claim that he has signed a multi-film deal.

The deal would include at least six film appearances set within the DC Comics universe.

Claims of Cranston's casting come days after Warner Bros. confirmed his Argo co-star Ben Affleck in the role of Batman.
