Celebrity Masterchef Ireland: The Semi Final, 9.30pm RTÉ One
Over the last month eight has become four as Gary Cooke, Kamal Ibrahim, Tracy Piggott and Conor Pope lost their aprons. In tonight's episode, having made it to the semi-final, the four cooks will be asked to prepare one dish to sufficiently impress Dylan and Nick and guarantee a place in the final.
The contenders will be given an extensive pantry made up of the best of Irish ingredients and one hour thirty minutes to create a dish. The cook who fails to wow Nick and Dylan will leave the MasterChef kitchen, as the remaining three go forward to the final.
Africa, 6.30pm RTÉ One
David Attenborough continues his thrilling series. East Africa is a land which is constantly changing. To survive here, creatures must be able to deal with unpredictable twists and turns - wet turning to dry, feast to famine, cold to hot - no matter how hostile it becomes. From dense forests to snow-capped peaks, steamy swamps and endless savannah, this unique and varied land is also a haven for life, supporting large animals in numbers found nowhere else on Earth. But away from the familiar, forever-travelling herds, there are a huge cast of other characters - lizards that steal flies from the faces of lions, vast dinosaur-like birds who stalk catfish through huge wetlands, and an eagle who risks everything on the arrival of ten million bats from a far off rainforest.
All Star Mr & Mrs, 8.00pm ITV
In the final programme in the series, Phillip Schofield introduces more celebrities competing to win up to £30,000 for their chosen charity. Coronation Street actress Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby) and her husband, actor Rob Beck, actor Colin Baker and his wife Marion Baker and TV presenter and animal expert Michaela Strachan and her partner Nick Chevallier compete for big cash prizes for a charity of their choice. Which celebrity couple knows more about their other half? Now that would be telling.
