The new Irish "recession comedy" Life's a Breeze is to receive its international premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next month.
Directed by Lance Daly, Life's a Breeze stars Pat Shortt, Fionnula Flanagan, Kelly Thornton, Eva Birthistle, Gerry McCann, Philip Judge, Lesley Conroy, Peter Coonan, Brian Gleeson and Paul Ronan, with cameos by Ryan Tubridy and Joe Duffy.
The movie, which tells the story of a family's race against time to find a lost fortune, is close to finalising a US theatrical distribution deal, details of which will be announced at the festival.
Director Daly and stars Shortt and Thornton will travel to Toronto for the screening.
Life's a Breeze is currently screening at selected Irish cinemas and will be released on DVD and VOD later this year.
The Toronto International Film Festival runs from September 5 to 15.
