Chris Brown has been arrested on suspicion of felony assault.
The R&B singer and a second man, believed to be one of his bodyguards, were arrested and charged in Washington DC at 4.30am this morning (October 27), the Washington Metropolitan Police Department has confirmed.
Both are accused of attacking an unnamed man outside the W Hotel. The victim is being evaluated at a hospital, according to website TMZ.
Brown is still on probation in relation to his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna. The arrest could be considered as a violation of his probation which would result in Brown being sentenced to prison time.
The Fine China star was in town to host a party at the nearby Park and 14th nightclub before the alleged incident.
