Neven Maguire's RTÉ series Home Chef is to be shown by public service broadcaster PBS in the United States from next month.
Speaking to the Irish Independent about the three-year deal, Maguire said: "It's huge and I'm so excited about it."
Maguire added: "It's great for me obviously, but it's also good for Ireland because it lets us showcase what we have to offer here - variety, value and quality."
The paper also reports that Maguire will film a St Patrick's Day special for US network NBC at his home in Blacklion, Co Cavan next week.
