Season 7 of top US comedy series The Big Bang Theory begins tonight (Tuesday) on RTÉ Two.
The show - which stars Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki as geeky scientist pals Sheldon Cooper and Leonard Hofstadter - returns with Leonard away on the North Sea.
Sheldon and Leonard's girlfriend Penny (Kaley Cuoco) continue to bond while both are pining over the absent Leonard, and they end up sharing intimate secrets with each other.
But when Penny contacts Leonard, he is having such a great time on the North Sea that he doesn't appear to be missing Penny.
Elsewhere, Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) do their own bit of bonding while attending a biology conference. Raj (Kunal Nayyar) tries to meet women since he can now talk to them without the crutch of alcohol.
The Big Bang Theory season 7 premiere is on tonight (Tuesday) at 7.30pm on RTÉ Two.
