Zero Dark Thirty actress Jennifer Ehle has said she thinks Jamie Dornan will be "amazing" as Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey.
The Contagion star admitted that she did not read the books by EL James before being cast as Anastasia Steele's mother, Carla May Wilks.
In an interview with E! News, she said: "It's extraordinary. I'm excited. I feel kind of like a tourist… I'm along for the ride, as it were."
However, now that she is in the know, Ehle thinks that The Fall star Dornan is perfectly cast – he secured the role after Sons of Anarchy actor Charlie Hunnam dropped out.
The actress admitted: "I didn't follow any of the drama, but I think Jamie will be amazing."
Fifty Shades of Grey is due out on August 1, 2014.
