Hearts melted across the land this morning when 2fm's Ryan Tubridy read out an e mail from 11-year-old Fergal Smith from Cavan who asked to be his assistant on this year's Late Late Toy Show.
In his message, Fergal says he has a common disability called "middle child syndrum" which means he never gets the credit for anything and so would like a chance to co-host the Toy Show with Ryan.
Fergal added that he had heard that there may be "a fee bob in it too" but we think he may have been joking...
Ryan chatted to Fergal's mother, Mairead, about her middle son on the radio and also said "I hope our paths will cross at some point." However he did say that the children who are taking part in this year's Late Late Toy Show have already been chosen.
