David Gray, Scottish post-rockers Mogwai and Irish newcomer Lisa O'Neill are the first acts announced for the new series of Other Voices in Dingle.
Reordings for the twelfth season of the acclaimed music series will take place in Dingle's St John's Church on December 6, 7 and 8 with Wire and Love/Hate actor Aidan Gillen returning to present in his customary laconic style.
The new series will be broadcast in the first half 2014 and applications are now being sought for artists to perform in the hugely successful IMRO Other Room section of the show.
RTÉ and Other Voices are inviting viewers and music fans to select the artist for the final prized IMRO Other Room slot. Artists of all genres to submit a YouTube link to one video (it can be a video or a still image with audio) or link to audio only recording for consideration.
These links should be submitted through the application process on www.othervoices.ie. Artists have until Wednesday, November 20 to submit their link.
