Monty Python reunion in the works

Written By Unknown on Selasa, 19 November 2013 | 23.37

The surviving members of Monty Python are expected to announce this week that they are reuniting for a new project for the first time in thirty years.

John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin are expected to attend a Thursday press conference in London, according to reports.

There are no other details of what the possible project could be at this stage but The Sun claims that the group has agreed to a reunion of some sort.

The group, which also originally featured Graham Chapman who died from cancer in 1989, created the TV sketch show Monty Python's Flying Circus which ran for 45 episodes from 1969 to 1974.

They also took the show on road and brought their comedy to the big screen with Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975), Monty Python's Life of Brian (1979), which was banned in Ireland for eight years, and Monty Python's The Meaning of Life (1983).
