An average of nearly 1.4 million Irish people watched last Friday's Late Late Toy Show making the seasonal special the most-watched programme on Irish television so far this year.
The average viewership figure was 1,376,600 and the show also had "a reach" of nearly two million.
The show was also available globally on the RTÉ Player and over 120,000 stream requests were received between Friday night and Sunday. There were also over 100,000 mentions on Facebook and 52,000 tweets about the show.
Kathy Fox, executive producer of The Late Late Show said: "We are absolutely thrilled that so many people got as much joy from watching this programme as we did making it. We have also been overwhelmed by the feedback from viewers who were watching from all over the world.
"We pushed Ryan in ways he hasn't been pushed before, but he didn't disappoint. He was very brave, a little bit bold but absolutely brilliant."
The show can still be watched on the RTÉ Player.
