X Factor winner to tour with Beyoncé

It has been announced that the winner of this year's X Factor will join Beyoncé on the UK and Irish leg of her forthcoming world tour.

The news was revealed by X Factor executive producer Mark Sidaway via Twitter. He wrote: "We just supersized our prize. Winner also gets to join Beyoncé in the UK leg of her world tour."

The Mrs Carter Show World Tour will see Beyoncé returning to this side of the world to perform in a number of cities including London, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and Dublin.

Sam Bailey, Luke Friend or Nicholas McDonald will now be part of the tour, supporting Beyoncé as she performs in front of thousands of excited fans.

This news comes in the week that Beyoncé released her fifth album, which has sold over 80,000 copies in just three hours in the US.

Each of the album's 14 tracks has its own music video and other bonus video content. A physical release is expected before Christmas.
