Fassbender linked to new Star Wars

Michael Fassbender is among the latest actors to be linked to a role in the new Star Wars movie.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Fassbender, Adam Driver (Girls) and Hugo Weaving (Lord of the Rings) are "among the many actors to catch director JJ Abrams' eye".

Sources confirmed to the trade daily that Breaking Bad's Jesse Plemons, who played Todd Alquist in the show's fifth season, is due to meet the director, but is one of "a long string of actors" on Abrams' list.

The makers of the movie, Disney and Lucasfilm, and the actors' representatives have declined to comment.
