Dáithí Ó Sé's wife Rita gives birth to a baby boy

Dáithí Ó Sé's wife Rita has given birth to a baby boy and the TV presenter announced the news on Twitter.

The Rose of Tralee presenter – who met Rita at the event – tweeted: "Micheal og O Se 8lbs 15... was born this morning at 11.31 sa Ghaillimh. Mother and baby doing great. Woohoo".

Obviously thrilled that both Rita and Michael Óg are well, the 37-year-old sent a subsequent tweet three minutes later, stating: "Life doesnt get much better than this!"
