Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock star Will Forte is coming to Dublin next week to present an award at the Irish Film and Television Awards and to attend a special screening of his new Irish-made film Run & Jump, in association with National Stroke Week.
The Irish Film and Television Awards (IFTAs) take place on Saturday April 5 at the DoubleTree by Hilton and will be shown live on RTÉ One at 9:35pm.
Run & Jump, which tells the story of a young family re-adjusting after the father suffers a stroke, is nominated in four categories at the IFTAs: Best Film, Best Script (Ailbhe Keogan), Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Edward MacLiam) and Best Editing (Nathan Nugent).
It opens in Irish cinemas on Friday May 2.
National Stroke Week runs from April 6 to 13, and Nebraska star Forte will attend a special screening of Run & Jump with co-star Edward MacLiam, director Steph Green and writer Ailbhe Keogan at the Light House Cinema on Sunday April 6, which will be followed by a Q&A.

Shot over a six-week period in Wicklow and Kerry, it was part-funded by RTÉ and has been released in North America by Sundance Selects, the sister division of IFC Films.
