Watch: No Limbs No Limits trailer

The trailer for next month's Joanne O'Riordan documentary No Limbs No Limits has been released.

Directed and produced by Joanne O'Riordan's brother Steven, No Limbs No Limits is described as a film "which explores Joanne's personal relationships with her family and those she meets on a daily basis".

Director O'Riordan said: "All my life I've had a fascination with my sister, and since I was 12 I have filmed her and watched her grow into an inspiring young woman that has not just enriched my life, but that of others, too.

"Joanne is literally only one of seven people in the world living with a rare physical condition known as Total Amelia.

"This means she was born without all four limbs, and even though there is no medical explanation as to why Joanne was born this way, Joanne and, indeed, my family have never allowed it to hold her back.

"No Limbs No Limits, I believe, is an education on how the human spirit can triumph over adversity, how sheer determination can overcome any barrier."

No Limbs No Limits is released in cinemas nationwide on Friday April 11.
