Jodie Foster has married her partner Alexandra Hedison.
A spokesperson for the 51-year-old actress confirmed that the couple tied the knot over the weekend.
The couple who reportedly began dating last summer, went public at the Wallis Annenberg Centre for the Performing Arts gala last October.
Foster first spoke about her sexuality publicly at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards while collecting the Cecil B DeMille Award.
She said: "I already did my coming out about 1,000 years ago back in the Stone Age, those very quaint days when a fragile young girl would open up to trusted friends and family and co-workers, and then gradually and proudly to everyone who knew her, to everyone she actually met."
She was previously in a long-time relationship with partner Cydney Bernard, with whom she has two sons. The couple ended their 20-year relationship in 2008.
