Coldplay hit Number One in 72 countries

Coldplay's new album Ghost Stories has gone to No 1 on the iTunes charts in 72 countries including Ireland.

The band tweeted that their sixth album had gone straight to the top in the US, the UK, Australia, South Africa, India, Brazil and Uganda.

A special Coldplay concert will air on Sky Arts 1 tonight, which was filmed in front of 800 people and sees them perform all nine tracks on the new LP plus fan favourites including Clocks, Viva La Vida and Paradise.
