A question about hit TV series Sherlock featured on today's Junior Cert English paper.

An essay by British writer Caitlin Moran entitled My Love Affair With Sherlock was used for a reading comprehension question.

The piece originally appeared in The Times newspaper in the UK and it recounts how series creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gattiss went into near meltdown when the BBC told them that the broadcast date of the first show had been moved forward.

The Irish Times' Examwatch column sent the question onto Moran earlier today and she happily retweeted it.

If you sat the Junior Cert English today, let us know if you thought the question was elementary or not by commenting below.
