Walsh says tough goodbye to Law & Order: UK

Law & Order: UK star Bradley Walsh has said that leaving the ITV drama was "one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make".

Walsh has played detective Ronnie Brooks for eight seasons and ITV says the show will now be "rested" but may return.

"It's been an absolute pleasure to inhabit Ronnie's mac for as long as I have," said Walsh.

He added: "I hope one day to revisit him, but for now I'd like the opportunity to pursue other drama projects which ITV are developing."

The final episode for the foreseeable future will be shown on ITV on Wednesday June 11 at 9:00pm.
