EastEnders star thinks Peter killed Lucy

EastEnders star Ben Hardy has said that he currently thinks his character, Peter Beale, killed on-screen sister Lucy. 

In an interview with Inside Soap, Hardy said: "My current theory is that Peter killed Lucy! There are a few factors that are suggesting to me that it's going to be him."

He continued: "However, I don't think he would have done it deliberately. I think Lucy's death might have been an accident – maybe Peter pushed her out of frustration and she hit her head. And then when we saw him crying at her funeral, it's because he's so devastated by the guilt of what he's done."

Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) is currently the bookies' favourite to be revealed as Lucy's killer.
