Jenny Dixon, who plays Kerri-Ann in Fair City, has successfully completed the Ice Bucket Challenge, with co-stars Eamon Morrissey (Cass) and John Duggan (Garda Maguire) helping her to raise funds for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA).
She said: "I got nominated twice, once from a friend and again from a group of Filipino students I used to teach. I was more than happy to accept."
She continued: "This is the first challenge like this I've done. It's a really positive and fun way to generate awareness and some much needed funds for the incredible and ongoing work IMNDA continue to do, and if I can help at all by accepting this challenge, then I'll be delighted."
After the challenge, Dixon nominated fellow Fair City actors George McMahon (Mondo) and David O'Sullivan (Decco), along with Jesse Daley (Big Time Rush on Nickelodeon) and the three bucket throwers, Eamon Morrissey, John Duggan and Alan Sherlock.
