Irish Exclusive: Dan Stevens in The Guest trailer

Former Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens has done an about turn from Matthew Crawley for his new film The Guest – check out the new trailer here.

Directed by Adam Wingard (V/H/S, You're Next), and also starring Maika Monroe, Brendan Meyer and Lance Reddick, the psychological thriller tells the story of a former soldier who arrives at the door of the grieving Peterson family, claiming to be a friend of their killed-in-action son.

The Guest will be released on Friday September 5.
