Will DÃ¡ithÃ do ice-bucket challenge on live TV?

Rose of Tralee host Dáithí Ó Sé could find a way to cool down under the bright lights of The Dome in Tralee tonight - he's been nominated to do the ice bucket challenge but will he do it live on air?

The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association has directly challenged Dáithí to join the likes of Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake and chuck a bucket of ice cold water over his head to raise awareness of Motor Neuron Disease.

Dáithí was originally challenged by his mother in law and the IMNDA echoed her nomination by sending him a direct challenge.

RTÉ Ten tweeted the Kerryman looking for his response and he replied, "Anything is possible on The Rose of Tralee!"

The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association is inviting everyone to undertake the ice bucket challenge to support their work in providing support to people in Ireland with MND.
