Grant won't star in third Bridget Jones movie

Hugh Grant has said he has decided not to reprise his role as Daniel Cleaver in the third Bridget Jones adaptation, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.

Speaking to Free Radio, the actor said of the planned film: "I decided not to do it. But I think they're going to go ahead and do it without Daniel."

He added: "The book's excellent, by the way, but the script is completely different – well, the script as I last saw it a few years ago."
