The stage production of Eimear McBride's best-selling novel, A Girl is a Half-Formed Thing returns to Dublin, this time at the Project, Feb 4-14, with performances also in Bray and Belfast.

See this much-acclaimed play also at The MAC, Belfast, February 17-21 and the Mermaid Arts Centre, Bray from February 27-28.

First published in 2013, the novel won the Baileys Women's Prize for Fiction 2014, and the prestigious Goldsmiths Prize for fiction, a win which was followed by nominations for The Folio Prize and The Guardian First Book Prize. McBride also went on to win the Kerry Group Irish Novel of the Year award.

The novel follows the inner narrative of a girl from birth to age twenty as she tries to make sense of things amidst oppressive Catholicism and deprivation.

Adapted for the stage and directed by Annie Ryan, this Corn Exchange production features award-winning actress Aoife Duffin of Moone Boy fame.
