One Ocean, No Limits, RTÉ 2, 8.00pm
One Ocean: No Limits' follows a young Irish novice rower through the highs and lows of rowing unassisted as part of a crew of 6 across the vast Atlantic Ocean from Morocco to Barbados.
Ocean Rowing is an extreme sport and from an endurance viewpoint, this feat of crossing the Atlantic by oar is similar to running over 100 marathons, back to back.
This is a documentary film about an extreme sports triumph – however, at its core, it is a human interest film that charts the experiences of a group of strangers forced into an extraordinary situation in an enclosed space crossing an ocean.

Sports Personality of The Year 2014, BBC One, 8.00pm
After another fantastic year in sport, Gary Lineker, Clare Balding and Gabby Logan present the 2014 BBC Sports Personality Of The Year, live from Glasgow's Hydro Arena.
This star-studded event features some of the greatest names in world sport and ends with the presentation of the famous trophy, with the winner chosen by viewers on the night.
There are 10 contenders for the main award and picking a winner will be tricky. Glasgow hosted a memorable Commonwealth Games with golden glory for many home nations' competitors. In other sports, Rory McIlroy won two of golf's majors, Lewis Hamilton became Britain's record Grand Prix winner and Lizzy Yarnold struck Winter Olympics gold.
Seven other awards will be presented, made up of Team and Coach Of The Year, Young and Overseas Sports Personality, Unsung Hero, Lifetime Achievement and the Helen Rollason award, given for inspirational achievement in the face of adversity.

The Moment of Truth, RTÉ One, 10.10pm
Tonight on the final episode of The Moment of Truth Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh meets Edward Horgan, a career soldier and a Commandant in the Irish Army who saw active peace-keeping duty in several war zones, including Cyprus and Sinai. What he witnessed disturbed him so much that, in retirement, he became a peace activist.
During the second Iraq War, he risked his family home to bring a case against the Irish Government for, as he saw it, compromising Irish neutrality by allowing the passage of American troops through Ireland.
In the process, he made himself a pariah among his former army comrades. Then, in 2004, the Kerry-born grandfather risked his life and liberty trying to arrest President George W Bush on Irish soil for conducting what Edward saw as an illegal war in Iraq. He was arrested, but never convicted and remains undeterred.
