The Voice of Ireland's Rachel Stevens has replaced Frankie Bridge on the Strictly Come Dancing 2015 tour.
Bridge announced on Twitter that she had to pull out of the tour on the advice of her doctor as she is "really unwell" during her second pregnancy.
She wrote: "Sadly I'm really unwell with my pregnancy and won't be able to take part in the Strictly tour. I'm SO sorry. I was so looking forward to it."
Stevens said of the news: "I'm really happy for Frankie and Wayne [Bridge, husband] - it's great news to start the New Year with."
She continued: "I know she's disappointed not to be doing the tour - I was supporting Team Frankie during the show and she was fantastic - but I'm happy to be able to step in for her.
"It's no secret that I loved my time in Strictly and that I'm a big fan of the dances, so I'm excited to be back and to get my dancing shoes on again."
Stevens added: "Today, I'm straight into rehearsals, learning the routines and meeting the guys and next week we'll be on tour seeing fans..."
Stevens was a runner-up on the 2008 series of the show, and in 2009 she went on the Strictly tour.
She has been paired with professional dancer Kevin Clifton for the 2015 tour.
The Strictly Come Dancing tour begins in Birmingham on January 16 and ends at London's O2 Arena on February 8.
The Voice of Ireland continues on RTÉ One on Sunday evenings at 6:30pm.
